If people in general could "feel" such things, then Aristotle (was
it?) wouldn't have taught that the brain is an air-conditioning
mechanism for cooling the body.

As I said, if you can do that, without wearing a portable PET-scan
device, then your services would be worth millions to any brain
researcher. If you can introspect and tell us what you are doing when
you speak or listen or read or write (let alone all the other things
that brains do!), neuroscience could make strides undreamed of by
Broca, Wernicke, or Hughlings Jackson.

Migraine sufferers (my sympathies) are a somewhat special case. (But
what does the location of a migraine have to do with brain functioning
associated with that location?)

Very, very rarely. When I got a headache, I would lie down and put
Handel's concerti grossi or organ concertos on the record player. They
are about the most soothing, soporific, and least intellectually
engaging music I know about.

Just slice open your skull and touch it!
