Ahh.. I recall hearing the "Turtles all the way down" quip being
attributed to an Indian "swami" who, being asked about the structure
of the universe, and replying that the world was a plate carried on
the backs of four elephants, was asked what the elephants rested on.

He replied that they stood on the back of a giant turtle.

On being asked what the turtle stood on, he got annoyed and replied...
"Its turtles all the way down".

Actually, I rather like the "TATWU,T" re-quip :)
