I have a Volterra integral equation of the first kind
\int_{0}^{t} K(s,t) y(s) ds + f(t) = 0
where K(s,t) is known analytically, y(s) is what I look for and f(t)
is known from experimental data points, which show scatter.
Any hints about how to solve this equation in a meaningful way
would be very welcome; I'll summarize e-mail responses I receive
if there is interest.
Thanks a lot in advance
