Regarding one-time pads, wyle@ethz.UUCP writes:

Yup. The "million random digits" book has been called Rand's most popular
work of fiction.
I heard rumors that somebody was able to do something with Cuban one-time
pads because the "random numbers" were generated by girls with typewriters
generating the random :-) digits at their keyboards.

This is solely my personal opinion, and not necessarily that of my employer,
the Rand Corporation.
