MIT Public Key Cryptography source/info wanted

If anyone can give me pointers to packages which perform the MIT
Public Key Cryptography I would be most grateful!
It sounds silly, but what I want are two functions E() and D() such
that D() can be made public, yet it is difficult to find E() from D().
Any help would be appreciated.
