I am trying to generate sub keys from a master key but do not know how to go about doing it. Are there any well known or rule of thumb algorithms that can be used to generate sub keys from a master key. These sub keys would also need to be checked to if they are true sub keys of the master so what sort of properties should these sub keys have and what kind of complexity needs to be involved in generating these keys? Any help would be appreciated. Kevin Niederberger.
