In crypto breaking down the door is difficult, but >he is advocating that the courts be allwed to demand that you give them >the key. What happens when the key you give in response to a court order doesn't work? There are legitimite reasons why this might happen, some kind of corruption, bad backup procedures, a user with a lot of keys may even get them mixed up, just to name a few things that could go wrong. Do you treat all of these instances as though the person had just refused to hand over the key? -- Geoff Galwey, Canberra, ACT, Australia -- e-mail - ggalwey@pcug.org.au galweyg@ozemail.com.au -- homepage/pgp key - http://www.pcug.org.au/~ggalwey
