Thanks for reading this. Maybe you could do me a favour.
I'm investigating security and privacy requirements for future
telecommunications systems. I look at it from a rather technical perspective.
Nevertheless I'm interested in legal regulations regarding user privacy, 
national, international or EC. They may range from constitutional laws
to detailed specifications. If you have some of these documents or pointers
to them, you would help much, if you passed them to me.

I know quite well the clipper debate in the USA and similar discussions
in Europe. In particular I'm interested in those regulations that have
already passed legislation or are at the brink to do so. My main points of 
interest are: the use of cryptography at all, key escrowing for use by
state agencies, protection of switching data, protection of location data
in mobility supporting systems, provider responsability for user
privacy.

Any hint is appreciated, preferably via e-mail. If there's enough response, 
I'll post a summary.
