In the book Cryptography and Data Security by Dorothy Elizabeth Robling Denning, was the answer to the book wide puzzle "DoNotBreakThis" or "DoNotBreamThis"? Bream is a real word (= clean by heating and scraping) but the word 'Break' would be more appropriate. The marked page numbers on my copy are 122, 138, 151, 164, 175, 184, 203, 221, 241, 272, 278, 287, 323, 356 Is this right?

"Bream" it is. Note that there is no word starting with 'K' in the first 107 words of the Declaration of Independence, so she picked one with 'K' as the first letter of the second syllable. Any book that cites me prominently gets my full attention. :) See pp 70 ff. -- Jim Gillogly jim@rand.org
