Is the FAQ for sci.crypt regularly posted? I looked in news.answers, but
couldn't find it.

The sci.crypt FAQ has been dormant for a while, but has recently
been resurrected and is being reviewed by a "Cabal" of five.
It'll be a couple of months, probably, before the FAQ is fully
resurrected and posted. It's currently 1100 lines long, and
there are 7000 written lines of suggested changes, plus
changes to be made that are as yet unwritten.

Hang in there...
