This is a very good example of why "unemployment" numbers are horseshit.
The Republican economy is based on crushing wage earners. Everyone
is employed but nobody has any disposable income.

As Der Fuhrer calls up the reserves to guard the airports and
then calls for enlistments to help in the war against Saddam,
and calls for the brownshirts as the palace guard and tries
so desperately to staff the secret police, the unemployment
numbers will also decrease a little, and so too the drudgery
rate (number of people per household working outside the home
to "make ends meet"). It's a Republican "jobs" program, boys
and girls.
