I'm relieved!  I've often wondered about all those bombs slowly
rusting away beneath the prairie.  It's seemed to me for some years
now that the main risk to the USA in the event of a nuclear war  
would be all those rockets going "phutt" as buttons were pressed,
and the warheads either going off _in situ_ or a couple of hundred
metres away as the duds spiralled back to earth.
