Yes Negative Income tax is an "Earned Income Tax Credit" (I Believe
that's what Milton F. Called it when he first proposed it.

But ... I not sure what you mean by "THE" earned income tax credit, is
this part of the american tax system?

What I'm really interested in is situations were Negative Taxation is
used as an alternative to social welfare programs. I've hear Australia
is doing something like this. Anybody have any Info?
