Fabrizio, I feel truly feel sorry for you. You are showing a clear
case of schizophrenia with paranoia subtype. At first I tought it was
only Paranoid Personality Disorder, but you seem to be having
allucinations too (seeing your "double"), wich puts you on the schizo
side. You also show strong symptoms of Narcissistic Personality
Disorder, with all your grandiose talk about the importance of your
work.
You sound like an otherwise smart guy. Seek medical help. These are
treatable diseases. Your quality of life will greatly improve if you
get treated.
