In case you haven't noticed it, farming really is on the way out in America. Four tobacco warehouses for local growers to sell at here in my North Carolina county 30 years ago; none now. Dairying also way down in this state. What's left is automating like crazy. Lower share than ever of Americans are farmers. Bottom line: there aren't remotely enough farmworker jobs for any sizeable percentage of the 700,000 wetbacks here in North Carolina - nor in most all states other than Kalifornia. Instead, they - overwhelmingly - work either indoors alongside native-born European-Americans and blacks in this state's declining factory industries (textile mills, furniture factories) or on construction sites. And it's the same way elsewhere; in Georgia, the carpet mills are where they mainly work. In Iowa, it's the slaughterhouses. In Arkansas, it's the poultry processing plants. No $4 to park! No $6 admission! http://www.INTERNET-GUN-SHOW.com
