I heard it in my youth as the 4 laws of thermodynamics: 1. You can't win 2. You can't even break even 3. It will all come out right in the end 4. But you'll never get there! This was from the same person who described the workings of an internal combustion engine as Suck, squeeze, bang, ptooie! Now try to forget them! -- Lani
