I have written a program, called EcoBeaker, for teaching ecology, conservation biology, and evolution laboratories on the computer. Its aimed at undergraduates from intro bio up to advanced ecology classes, and also works well in high schools and in a few graduate level courses. The Macintosh version of the program is currently used in many universities and high schools around the world, and people seem to like it quite a bit. We are finishing up the Windows version of EcoBeaker, and are looking for reviewers for this winter. As a reviewer, you get to use the program for the rest of this school year, and will get a free copy when it is released in the spring. In return, I will ask you to report any bugs you find as you are using it. If you think you might be interested in being a reviewer for EcoBeaker for Windows, please first look at my web site at http://www.webcom.com/sinauer/ecobeaker.html for more information. Then email me at the address below. The Macintosh version of the program is already released from Sinauer Associates. Check the web site http://www/webcom.com/sinauer/ecobeaker.html for more information. P.S. If you contacted me this fall, you are already on my list and I'll get in touch soon. Thanks very much, Eli Meir Dept of Zoology, Univ of Washington meir@zoology.washington.edu
