I looked around for a month or so at various low-price PCB software
packages.  Many looked dated and/or seemed difficult to understand.  I
use XP and want a real Windows package not a DOS tart-up.  No names,
but most looked DOS to me.  Eventually I picked Easy-PC from Number
One Systems, in October.  I only used the manual twice laying-out the
first PCB.  I think its a super little program.  You can get a demo on
www.numberone.com
