If you have a wheel mouse, you can use it for all navigation
(panning and zooming). The mouse wheel scrolls up-down.
Shift-mouseweel goes left-right. Control-mousewheel in-out.
Very fast and easy.

Alternatively you can bind function keys to the zoom
command.

It's "break". Also there is an unlimited general "undo" via
control-z or typing "undo".

There used to be; I can't find it now so perhaps it is
defunct. The principal author/programmer hangs out in some
of these groups, perhaps he will be along in a minute.
