What problem? I have not taken any aprt, but I made one. I used series parallel wiring. Well LED's do take transients well. They should also be used under their average rated parameters, and close spacing will derate their heat dissipation Autompbiles can also get very hot. LED's will dim when over driven. The light will droop after an initial high current drive. Automoble equipment should be made to stand to at least 16 volts. greg
