A few weeks ago I connected a photovoltaic cell to an earphone. I could
walk around with the earphone to my ear and put the photocell near
lights and TV screens, video screens, etc. I could hear which type of
light gave off the must hummmmm or buzzzzz. Well the CF lights were a
lot louder than the incandescents.
