Don't laugh (well, O.K. laugh if you must) but that's
what my '79 Porsche uses. A 2 wire sensor, 8 cycles per
wheel rotation. I read alternately an open circuit 
and closed circuit with nothing but a digital ohmmeter 
connected. It's been good for over 150K miles.
