How many have seen EMP? How many nuclear blasts have you encountered lately?
What are the numbers associated with such fields? The many examples are operations
interrupted (ie computer crashes) because a very strong signal was able to create a
minute voltage - a temporary interruption and no where near required for
semiconductor damage.

We would do this often. Open the steel cases and run transmitters inside the
system. Only to make sure the design was solid. Semiconductor damage was never
even a possibility - of course was never observed. It was onlly performed to
verify the circuits were so properly designed at to even withstand RF noise. What
radios are creating RF surges?

The idea of EMP damage is all based upon speculation without numbers. Using
those same logical processes, I can also prove that I can crack open the earth to
China. If EMP creats damage, then EMP even does worse damage to semiconductor
designed to concentrate that EMP on transistor gates. Sometimes an electronic
device is so poorly designed that it was crash or temporarily stop working because
of external fields. But those interruptions are 100 or 1000 times too small to
cause semiconductor damage.
