A liitle known fact: The 1992 cable act made dealing in cable descramblers a federal offense. State laws mean next to nothing now. When The FBI busts an operation, they get all the names, addresses and credit cards numbers of all the buyers nation wide. This information is enough to convict in any state. 24 busts and 31 investigations are currently ongoing. One must wonder? Will the guy I bought mine from be on the FBI's hit list. Be careful what you ask for. You may get it. Be smart. The last guy we busted lost his house and everything in it. Now with deregulations the guys with the BIG money(telephone companies) are spending millions to lobby for legislation nation wide to crack down harder. The seller will tell you this is bull. I know otherwise.
