This is a major rip off - stay away from these guys at all costs!
I bought the plans, and they can't be built! The most important part
is simply not available anywhere. Besides, after getting the plans, I
heard from several others that they are really old, and wouldn't work
anyway. Apparently, noone uses this old technique anymore.

Save your money!!!!!

There are however ones that do work. For $80 roughly, you can get a
Universal one, that works on all but the toughest systems.
It does it by stripping the video of all Sync, and inserting it's own
by Syncing to the Color Burst signal.
I have one, and was able to make it work on a Zenith PM system.
However it only handles the video portion, and not audio, which Zenith
PM was so nice to have altered as well. So I am still working on
finding SAW filters that will decode the audio part.

You will need to gut out a cable box or better than that
rip apart a semi-working VCR to steal the tuner and RF modulator (and
power supply and control electonics) in order to get raw video to feed
into it. (Composite unfiltered).

I don't care to publish any more details and please don't email me
with your "mee tooo" mailings...
