I developed a new type of product that I would like to make a patent search on. Can I do this myself or do I have to hire some big expensive atorney to do this. And also how different must an electronic device be to be unique from a patented one. For example does designing a device that does the same thing but using different circuitry designs qualify as a unique product that can be patented? I appreciate anyone's help. Neil Gandler
