The worst part about the whole business is the incredible 
waste of net bandwidth by all those people who said:

" Hey, look at this! Some guy screwed up on the speed of
  light!  I know what the speed of light is, I'll show the whole 
  world I'm smarter than this here System Administrator. He 
  even rounds off numbers! Must be one of those sloppy engineers.
  I'm gonna post a correction so evryone can be enlightened! "

It seems that this group had more traffic in flames to Roy 
than it has had in real discussions in a long time.

What have we gotten? Lots of copies of people saying the same thing.
The moral:

READ BEFORE YOU POST!!!!!
If you want to correct or answer, mark that message as unread, finish
reading the group, then go back and post your response! Don't wind up
posting the same stuff everyone else has posted.
