Can anyone help me by telling me the manufacturer (if there is one!)
of a product, either pre-assembled or in kit form, that could control
the power supply to an electrical appliance via an I/R remote.

This device should ideally sit between the mains socket and the appliance
and must be available in the UK.

Please e-mail, thanks in advance.
