This can be a really good educational gizmo. It is an 8" Winchester
disk, Quantum Q2040, made about 1981. As it was supposed to be, it
takes 110V 60Hz right from the outlet to spin it. Yet it has a normal
ST-506/MFM interface and 40MB capacity, so you can hook it up to 
your faithful old XT and get it to do a real job while kids watch it
work - the platters are in a TRANSPARENT plastic tank! As far as I
understand, it has never been used; it is latched, has a clamp on
the motor, and the drivebelt is not on the pulley to avoid stretching.

It can be yours. Make me a ridiculous offer.
