I have in-laws who live in Argentina, and want a camcorder to go with their
VHS machine. Since my wife can get big discounts where she works, and since
it's impossible to by anything in Argentina, they were asking me to get one
for them here, and ship it to them.

My problem is that I don't know if it'll work there. Does anyone know if
the TV signals required in Argentina are compatable with those of the US? Is
this even the right place to ask? I don't want to toss away $1000, or end up
with a camcorder I don't really need. Any help will be gratefully accepted.
