This depends on how low the cost of a high resolution monitor would be. 
As far as the digital signal processing requirement goes, only a few milion 
transistors and some DRAM chips would be needed. You can pretty much guess
what the cost of electronics would be when they are used in consumer products.
For now, the major problem is to get a low cost monitor.
