I'm working in a research about how to select different types of
memory in a computer system (micros, minis and mainframes). I'd like
to know the opinions from all of you, about the considerations that
are necessary to make in order to select the right memory type in a
computer. (i.e.) Access time, dynamic or static?, price, size,
capacity (bytes), word length, etc.
I'd also like to know about the different types of memory expansion
cards, virtual memory software, memory expansion software that are
available.
Thank's in advance for your help.
