I need a device that is capable of "playing" a string of about 40+ DTMF 
tones.  This device must play these tones to a speaker, and be very 
inexpensive.  I've looked at Intel's 8051, but the price is a bit steep 
at about $5.50 each.  Does anybody have a cheaper solution?  I hope to 
find a device for about $1.00 per unit.  A 4-bit microprocessor might work.

Any help available would be appreciated.
