Hello. I like to get some feedback ;) on what people think of the text Linear System Theory by Frank Callier and C. Desoer. I have just started a Intro. to Linear Systems course, and there is no required textbook for the class. The professor mentioned that this book might be good as a supplement to his lectures. So do people think it's worth the $75 Cdn., or do you think there is some better (and cheaper) text out there I should be aware of? By the way, I have completed the usual systems and signal analysis courses, a course in classical control theory, in which we we used "Feedback and Control Theory" by Doyle, Francis and Tannenbaum as the text, and my math background is sufficient. Also, I plan on doing control stuff in grad school. Many thanks for your help. -- Ranjan Rai <rairan@ecf.toronto.edu> Engineering Science 9T3 <rr@odin.control.toronto.edu> University of Toronto
