"Light Curtain" info request

I need to protect a pinch point on an enclosure that I've developed
for X-Radiation testing. The best solution I've seen is two light
curtains at right angles -- to protect both the side approach and
the top approach to the pinch point.

I have information on two vendors and I'd like comments on what other
vendors may have good products and any actual usage information you
might have on the vendors I do know about.

Scientific Technologies, Inc (STI) is proposing use of their
FlexSafe(tm) product. It would use one device, consisting of
two segments to cover the side and top.

Data Instruments/Wintriss Controls Group is proposing two of
their Shadow V(tm) Light Curtain, one for the side, the
	other for the top.

An initial pass at the spec sheets and quotations give the edge to STI --
but I have no reliability or usage experience with either. I would
appreciate comments. If requested I will post/e-mail a summary.

Thank you for any help.
