US - FL-Coordinator, Safety and Training

Education: AS Electrical or Safety engineering or related field.
Certifications: CSP desired
Experience: 5+ years experience.

Electrical cooperative in central Florida seeks Coordinator, Safety
and Training. Responsible for the safety program and conducts the
technical training and safety services provided to employees. Assess
and develop training needs for linemen, foremen, and line
superintendents for member systems. 
	Major responsibilities include:
- Initiates, plans, schedules and presents safety and training
programs to employees.
- Organizes and coordinates the cooperative Emergency Work Plan which
involves the cooperation of neighboring cooperatives for providing
assistance in times of severe storms.
	Requirements include associate degree in Electrical or Safety
Engineering or related fields. Training in the field of human
relations and communications a plus. CSP desired. Five years of
experience in electric utility construction, maintenance, and
operations is desirable. Rural electric experience desirable. Must
have working knowledge of OSHA, NEC, and ANSI codes as they affect the
electric power industry. Excellent communications skills required.
