US-PA-Phila-Safety Coordinator Salary: to $60K Education: BS Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene or related. Certification: ASP/CSP desired Experience: 5-7+ years civil construction industry. Construction company with strong safety culture seeks experienced Safety Coordinator to work in its regional office. Responsibilities include: - Implement safety policies and programs for the mid-atlantic region. - Administer regional programs to improve compliance with company policy and OSHA regulatory requirements. - Monitor and administer fleet safety for the region - Conduct field training at worksites - Audit regional programs and implement corrective measures. Successful candidate will have minimum 5 years experience in construction environment,BS degree in occupational safety, Industrial Hygiene or related discipline, comprehensive knowledge of OSHA standards and strong safety management background. Should be an experienced safety trainer. Must work well with all levels of employees. 50% travel required.
