And the best thing that Unix can teach you is that you know
*nothing* -- well comparatively.

Depending on your chosen field, the you can gain much more
from the experience of others (and not just engineers; also
technicians, tradespeople and even unskilled labourers) is
more valuable to gain a deep understanding of what you
working on. Keep an open mind and always listen. You'll be
told a lot of crap (just like at University/College/Tech).
Hopefully, with time you'll be able to distinguish that from
the important stuff.
