I am interested in methods applied in forecasting of waste inputs for incineration plants, landfills etc. in any area of the world. Can anyone give me some information about waste forecasting that was verified years after its publication? Are there any known cases of (e.g.) incineration plants in operation that have proved to be too big or too small or otherwise inadequate for waste management, i.e. the purpose they were planed for?
