What triggers asthma for one person, may not in another. What triggers asthma in you now, may not trigger it in the future." Ok I agree with that but how would anyone know if it was caused by pollution if they had never gone to the airnow website? Surely no doctor ever recommended that I move becaue of my condition, however that might have been what I needed more then allergy shots or testing. I may be allergenic to molds and weeds too but its the pollution that is the defining trigger for me and in studies which causes many illness and finite death. My whole theory is , that pollution could be the defining factor for many people with onset adult asthma and even other illnesses. Often it seems the states with worse asthma, also has the highest particulate pollution. This theory I suggest could be tested by comparing the health of two different peoples in two different locations who ate the same things relatively speaking and who didn't smoke. The same tests could be done for collecting pollutants in houses in different pollution level cities. the same comparison tests could be had between people who live in polluted streets, with much car traffic compared to those that live in clean air states out in the country. The same comparisons might show more illness to those affected bypollution and more costs to treat it then those in clean air states. What needs to be done moreover is to add up the true total costs for different levels of pollution so as to determine damages , if true and I know and think it true What I am thinking is, the results might be definitve in establishing cause and affect . If true this would be a most important way to determine real damages from pollution . As it is now, I have the highest possible doubts that this information will ever be studied. The reason is the comparison studies I believe would reveal things that would almost be impossible to ignore . We would have to come to grips with a total different way to tell people of this health risks. For some reason this does not seem (studies) important enough,, as a collected effect a good choice for policy holders or political leaders or health professionals and I want to know why In addition there is the possibility that beyond asthma, many illnesses and cancers and aging might be directly tied to the level of pollution . Pollution in my theory is the most widely unreported reason for adult asthma, illness and early morbidity in the world today. So ultimately I have so far unable to get news people or other professionals to move an inch in determining maybe one way or another ( true of fales ) if doing the studies in determining this theory is important enough in protecting peoples health . I think there is good reason to suggest if the studies and findings were done with good collective data and purpose and with public health policy concerns addressses, the most prominent cause and affect in contributing to loss of health there is today in the world would finally become known. This damage I suppose might show huge costs of lives and quality of life due to polluntants allowed to come into communities.
