Suppose you do a regular Julia set algorithm - for each point in
the screen x,y you make z = x+yi and then iterate z = f(z) for some
complex function f(). Now, what are the names of each of the following
ways of determining the color of the initial (x,y)?
1. color = number of iterations to reach a certain |z|
2. color = |z_final| (distance of the final z from the origin, after a
   certain number of iterations)
3. color = |z_final - z_original| (how far the point ended up from
   where it started)

What are these called? Please reply to mlevin@husc8.harvard.edu.
