Hello, I am seeking help in some studies I am conducting. I am looking for any good sources which offer any sort of explanation on deriving a fractal model from a data set (say, ocean heights). In particular, I would appreciate any one out there in Austin who has some experience with this to drop me line. So far, I haven't found anyone directly associated with the math or physics departments at UT who work with fractal modeling. Thanks, Donn Chambers -- ******************************************************************************* SATOR The creator | "I once was a dancer, young once like you AREPO slow moving | though I know I don't look it TENET perceives | I jumped as high as the sky, I had fire OPERA his creations | in my eyes, I had legs like a stallion."
