I've run several searches on these key words ( brain, neurological, damage, fractals, viewing ) with totally negative results. Although the structures of the brain are fractal , dendrite-like , ( a large numbers of studies in this area have been done) , there is no known link to viewing fractals in any cases of brain/neorological damage that Google will admit to. I can tell you some fractals art may be "toxic", but I doubt it causes any brain damage. A study would probably give negative results: I'd like to see a measurement of chimps brain activity before and after exposure to fractal art! My guess that the results would be improved brain activity after exposure!
