I am looking for recommendations for finite element mesh generators. Code should run under DOS, or UNIX/Xwindows. Three-dimension ability is a plus, but 2-D will due. Thanks, Greg Sharp

Henry is at the Institute of Ocean Sciences in Patricia Bay, Vancouver Iland. The program is called TRIGRID and is supposed to tun on workstations and pcs. A use of this grid is presented in Foreman and Freeland, 1991, JGR, 17007-17021. There is a reference in that paper and an address that can be used. Note that this program creates triangular grids.
