Hello there:

I am going to be involved in the color image processing project
this summer. Does anyone have experience on that topic?
I would like to know any good books, papers, and algorithms about
color image processing, particularly color segmentation, leveling,
thresholding, color to grayscale (bitmap) conversion, and
color representation (RGB, CMY, etc.) which is less computational
expensive. I highly appreciate any information, recommendation,
suggestion, comment.

-Fred

P.S. Please respond to zpeng@u.washington.edu Thanks.
