Hello everyone! I've only just started exploring the field of image processing. Right now I am working on OCR for DOT-MATRIX printed characters and need a good skeletonization algorithm to reduce the irregularities in the contour that my recognition engine has to deal with. If anyone has come across/devised good skeletonization algorithms for this problem, kindly email me (at kaykit@iti.gov.sg) the relevant references. Thanks. --- Kay-Kit CHAN | Internet: kaykit@iti.gov.sg Knowledge Systems Lab | Bitnet: kaykit@itivax Information Technology Institute | Tel: (65) 772-0920 National Computer Board of Singapore | Fax: (65) 770-3043
