 Someone had asked:

    >I am looking for references (ie. books, articles, or even source codes)
    >on fuzzy logic and fuzzy algorithms. In particular, I am interested in
    >applications in the field of image processing e.g. image segmentation,
    >image thresholding, motion detection etc etc.........
    >

I'm including here major researchers involved in fuzzy image
    processing and the related fields.

    1. Mohan M. Trivedi, Fuzzy Image Segmentation
       Algo.: Fuzzy C Means
Ed: J.C. Bezdek, CRC Press, 1987.

    2. Bezdek, M.M.Trivedi, Fuzzy clustering, IEEE tr. on smc 1986

    3. Jayaramamurthy, Edde recognition using fuzzy sets, Proc. IEEE LFA, Pa
       lma de Majorca 71, 1985
    4. Kandel, A., diverse articles, check Fuzzy Sets and Systems 17, 1985,
       pp 167

5 Huntsberger, Interactive fuzzy image segmen. , pattern recognition, 1

    6 Chatterji, IFAC 1984, no.6, E. Sanchez, Pergamon Press,
       pp 187
    7. Pal, Majumdar, Color Image Segmentation, IEEE PAMI-4, no.2, 1982.
    8. Dubois, Prade in France

I hope it would help you a bit,
