I am about to begin a project that will require depth information about scenes.
There are many methods noted in the literature, but I'm am more interested in
how others found the implementation and results derived from those methods.

I am interested in shape from X methods, stereo-vision methods and range finding
devices (laser, acoustic, X-Ray etc.) If you have tried any method not
mentioned above will you please send it.

If you could include:
	The methods you used,
how they performed, resolution, others problems
	your application area
Any references that you used in researching the method
general comments on how you rate the method.

All replies will be compiled and reported back to this news group or mailed to
individuals who request it.

Thanks in advance Peter Cole
