We have recently acquired a Data Translation DT-2853 "low-cost"
frame grabber.

Does anyone have any experience programming this board?

I am new to programming personal computers in the C language, and
I am experiencing some difficulty in reading/writing the registers
which control this board.

Unfortunately the company (Data Translation) insists that most people
abandon the manual which accompanies this product, and instead
purchase additional software, which I am reluctant to do.

Many thanks!
