I am starting an image processing project for the final year of my
course. This will deal with the subject of Matching using colour
images.

I know little at this stage & want to find out how images are stored in
files, i.e. how colours & pixels are represented, how the size of the
image is stored etc. etc. I want to deal with some of the popular formats,
JPEG, GIF + others.

If anyone has documentation on this subject, I would be very grateful if
you could email it to me.

Thanks

Rob Sanders
